NetworkHD Routing

Switch video, audio and USB in a WyreStorm NetworkHD system from any RTI panel, remote or keypad — with true feedback.

Overview

One driver controls the whole NetworkHD system through the NHD-CTL controller: up to 32 sources and up to 32 displays, switched from any RTI panel, remote or keypad. Video, audio and USB can move together or separately, so a room can keep its camera and microphone on one PC while the picture changes.

Every display and every source gets its own group of ready-made functions and variables, named the way you name the room. Drag Main Screen – Set Source onto a button and the work is done; nothing has to be typed twice. Use Display – Source variables for highlighted buttons, Routed Display Count for the room overview, and the driver’s events — routed, unrouted, display offline, video lost, controller disconnected — to start your own macros.

Maintenance is covered too: reboot one decoder, one encoder, all endpoints or the controller from the panel, and send your own named commands as ready-made buttons. Multiview decoders are not part of this driver — they have their own.

What you can do

Any source on any display — in one tap
Switching

Any source on any display — in one tap

Send any source to any display, to all displays at once, or step through sources with one button. Two panel styles: a direct button per source and display, or “select a source, then tap the displays”. Up to 32 sources and 32 displays through one NHD-CTL controller.

Buttons show what is really on screen
True feedback

Buttons show what is really on screen

A button lights up the moment it is pressed and goes back if the controller does not confirm the change. Every display reports online, picture present, no-video alarm, resolution, HDCP and stream state; every source reports online, signal and streaming.

Whole-room layouts as one button

Save the routing of the whole room and recall it with one button — presets survive a processor restart. CEC power and input commands for displays, RS-232 to any encoder or decoder, USB switching on its own, and events for macros: routed, display offline, video lost, controller disconnected and more.
